Sorry I don’t post here as often as I should. I’ll be making a video on this subject soon as well. The Codex of Warships and Support Vehicles is now live on the site! Here you’ll find a sortable/searchable list that links out to detail pages with stat blocks on many of the common ships and vehicles you can use in your campaigns. I’ve also included some basic rules for how to target warships for attack as well as how to capture warships without destroying them.
This update also formally introduces a new weapon property; Anti-Large. Some enemy MS already had this feature, but now it is available to players as well. Anti-Large weapons and enemies deal double damage to warships and structures (that’s 4x damage on a Critical Hit!). This should add some tactical consideration when choosing your weapon loadouts or who to strike first when defending a target from enemy attack. Do I take out the snipers first or the Guntank targeting my HLV?
The stat blocks (as always) are subject to change as we playtest and try to balance things out. I’m always looking to add more features to individual ships to give them more flavor beyond just numbers. If you have any suggestions, questions or comments, leave them here or join us on Discord.
Finally I’m excited to announce that the MS list for the Gryps Conflict, spanning the events of Zeta Gundam and ZZ Gundam, is almost ready and will go live next week!
This is very exciting to me because Zeta and ZZ are my favorite series so I wanted these stat blocks to be perfect. It introduces the “Variable” MS tag and proficiency, which I may add to some Class proficiencies in order to give each Class a little more flavor, but I don’t want to pigeonhole players into using a specific MS just because of a class they chose.
So far I have stuck to main series for the most part with the MS lists. After the Gryps Conflict MS lists are live I will start adding some MSV, video game, and side story options as well. I already have material for Gundam Sentinel units to be added to the Gryps Conflict MS lists. Not to mention adding enemy stat blocks for those units as well!
